Dermaplaning is a non-invasive exfoliating facial which gives immediate results, dead skin cells and facial hair are removed with a surgical scalpel to improve skin texture and radiance. How does it work? The scalpel is gently glided over the face and neck to remove dull, dead skin and “peach fuzz” facial hair. The skin feels soft, clean and smooth. In this way the skincare products are also better absorbed, and make-up goes on more smoothly for flawless application. This is a safe procedure with few, if any, side effects.

No waxing, electrolysis, or laser treatments on the treatment area 72 hours before peel application. No tanning, waxing or face laser treatments for 48 hours before or after chemical peels. If Botox procedure was done, a new treatment can be performed after 14 days, and in the case of fillers 4 weeks.
Aftercare advice for Dermaplaning:
Avoid make up for 24 hours after the treatment.
Apply a cold compress or aloe vera gel if erythema or any unusual tingling is experienced.
In the event skin grazes from the scalpel, apply soothing gel with arnica and chamomile as often as needed for a few days.
Avoid extreme sun exposure and heat treatments, wear full spectrum sunblock daily.
Dermaplaning can be repeated every 4 weeks, and can also be combined with with mesotherapy, PRP or laser facials.
